A safe space for all families
Famijeunes is a family community organization that has been deeply rooted in the Saint-Henri neighbourhood for over 50 years. The organization was founded by local parents to meet the needs of single-parent families, who often faced significant financial hardship.
Today, Famijeunes provides a vibrant, welcoming, and warm environment for all families: single-parent, blended, newly arrived, or those simply looking for a helping hand and a little respite. It is a place where you can relax, have a coffee, chat with other parents, or connect with staff members who truly understand the realities of family life.
Through its activities for children, parents, and the whole family, Famijeunes helps break isolation, foster connection, stimulate development, and strengthen family bonds… all while having fun!
Since its creation, the organization has continued to evolve to meet the needs of the neighbourhood, welcoming new families who find a listening ear, mutual support, and the joy of community.
